Juniper Bistro served some of the best food in the neighbourhood behind a tired sign and a laminated menu. We gave it a warm new identity, menus, signage and a simple booking site so new diners would finally walk in.

The challenge
Regulars loved Juniper, but new diners walked straight past. The frontage was dark, the menu was hard to read and booking meant phoning during service. Weekends were half full while the street was busy.
- A frontage that did not invite people in
- No online booking
- Menus that hid the best dishes
Our approach
We kept the name and the spirit of the place, then made everything easier to notice. A hand-drawn juniper sprig became the mark, painted large on the window. The menus were rewritten around five signature dishes, and a one-page booking site went live with photos we shot during a real Saturday service.

People stop outside now. Some of them take a photo of the window first.
The results
Within three months, weekend tables were booked weeks ahead and midweek covers had grown too.
- 100% weekend occupancy
- 60% of bookings now made online
- 25% more midweek covers
